How to Update Your Aadhaar for Free in Your Mobile Phone

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows you to update your Aadhaar details online for free. You can update your name, address, mobile number, and email id using the UIDAI’s online portal, myAadhaar.

To update your Aadhaar details online, you will need the following:

Your Aadhaar number
Your registered mobile number
A valid document to support the update (e.g., a copy of your address proof)

Once you have these things, you can follow these steps to update your Aadhaar details:

Go to the UIDAI’s myAadhaar website.
Click on the “Update Aadhaar” tab.
Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.
Click on the “Send OTP” button.
Enter the OTP that is sent to your mobile number.
Select the details that you want to update.
Upload a scanned copy of the supporting document.
Click on the “Submit” button.

Your Aadhaar details will be updated within 3-5 working days. You can check the status of your update request by clicking on the “Check Aadhaar Update Status” tab on the myAadhaar website.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when updating your Aadhaar details online:

You can only update your Aadhaar details once in a year.
You cannot update your Aadhaar details if your Aadhaar is suspended or cancelled.
You will need to pay a fee if you want to update your Aadhaar details offline at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
